All the throttle linkages I have left are for the twin
solex (BMW Ti) set up and I would still have to trawl
through to find. I'll have a look when I'm back.

You should be able to find a carb mounted kit for £45 on E-bay. Most fit DCOEs or DHLAs. I have a single cable set-up so the pedal is light. Just have to make up a bracket on the bulkhead to convert rod operation to cable.

Hi,
I have used the throttle cable from an RHD E21 on 02s to connect to the carbs.
What you need is the linkage arm that attaches to the spindle where it goes through the bulkhead and the cable. The arm slides onto the 02 spindle and then you can bolt the cable to the scuttle.
Check out fleabay for a twin carb linkage.
Hope this helps.
Cheers,
John.

Subject: [bmw02] Twin carb throttle linkage

Hi, the completion of my engine swap is imminent but I have been hit with the task of connecting my carbs to my foot.
At the moment the plan is to manufacture my own device, possibly mounted to the rocker cover or the inlet manifold. I have chosen to do it this way simply because I cannot bring myself to spend £40-£100 on a throttle linkage. Saying that I would prefer one of those carb mounted, double springed affairs.
So on the off chance that one of you might have a throttle linkage for some twin carbs, preferably Dellortos, that they have hanging around and they wouldn't mind selling it to me for up to £30 it would me much appreciated. I am not fussy about condition, reconditioning is far easier than creating something from scratch.
I know its a long shot but I thought I might as well ask before I devote a lot of time and effort into manufacturing something myself.
Thanks,
Will
