Dunno where you live but me mate here in far west wales can recover them. He's good , even done a couple of rollers in conelly hide. Best news, he's cheap and does a Brighton run quite often. I've got seats from a 318is for my 2002 when I finish. They tilt back, but are reccaro types and i'm afraid the finished project will cost a lot but it's a mid life crisis thing and not a posh one !. Hmm, lots of other things planned for it too.........

I need to replace the front seats in my 2002 Lux. They are wearing through under the bum, under stuffed and I've had to weld the passenger one upright so that it stops collapsing on passengers in the back. This means you can only get into the back seat from the driver side - a bit of a pain. This is my only car so it gets a lot of use - it is more practical comfort than concours.
I spoke to James and he has some good condition ones from the breaking down of the riviera blue 2002 - but they have a light grey centre panel and a blue head rest. If I replace the lot to have consistent upholstery (including the back seat) I'll lose the Lux armrest.
So, has anyone got any black lux seats in good condition? Any opinions/tips on vinyl dying? How successful is it? Recovering?
Thanks
Liz
