Just like to say a big hello to you all & thankyou <http://bmw02.jiglu.com/tags/topics/thankyou> for allowing me to become a member. As a new member I thought I would introduce myself. I have recently purchased a 1975 1602 from an elderly gentleman who had lovingly renovated the car for the last 17 years before his health gave out. This chap was a wonderfull engineer & has done a marvelous job & I look forward to the task of completing the work & driving it this summer. He was a hoarder the same as me and thankfully he gave me a large amount of spares (filled my garage) It is practically a whole spare car without the panels including spare head, block, manifold carbs, dizzy's, seats, brake system, starting motors <http://bmw02.jiglu.com/tags/topics/motoring> , seat belts, gearbox, electrics, lights, glass, rubbers/seals, steering box <http://bmw02.jiglu.com/tags/topics/steering-box> , switches & so on. On some items I have spares of spares which I am willing to sell to carry on with the restoration, so I'm offering to sell some parts to the club before I ebay them. if anyone needs any parts please feel free to email me & I will let you know if I have them. I am selling the spare block & a tow bar, so again if anyone is interested please shout before I ebay it. many thanks
