BMWCC 'Concours of the North' July 13th

Next
of 22 messages

The North East Region of the BMW Car Club proudly invites all 02'rs to join us at Harewood House near Leeds on Sunday 13th July 2008.

http://www.harewood.org/

The 'Concours of the North' as it has become known is without doubt the finest regional BMW show in the country and is now in it's 25th year.

Previously only open to members of The BMWCC, the new organising team (BMWAMAC, Steve and myself) decided to open it up to all BMW enthusiast groups and after a successfull trial last year have decided to go large!

We have sole use of the entire North Lawn facing the main house.. as used by Aston, Jag and Rolls for their big national events.

We would love it if you could come and support us.. you could have as much space as you want with no real restriction on space.. you could have your own stand or blend in with us.

We have dealer presence from Scotthall Leeds and detailers Zymol.

I realise that the date clashes with Bimmerflex and that a lot of you will be there.. but if you are not going down south and you would like to bring your car to Leeds just let me know. _____________

Hi Nick

I hope to be able to come to Harewood with my "rally" prepared '02 (I gather that there is likely to be a few '02s coming).   I am also happy to come to the track day on the Monday at Croft and sit in with anyone who would like to "learn the line" around my local track.

Regards

Mike

Mike,

That’s brilliant, thank you.

Your presence at the track day really spreads the load and takes a lot of weight of my shoulders, it really is appreciated.

Looks like I will have an ‘02 stand at Harewood to rival Gaydon!

Hi Nick

Do I need an advance ticket for Harewood?   If so how much are they and do I send the money to you?

How many 2002's have you got so far?

I would like some flyers still Nick. I have a dozen
BM's I know who are local enthusiasts. I would happily
leave a flyer on their screen with my contact details
on the back.

Hello Mike,

You don’t need to pay Harewood in advance, but it is cheaper if you do.. www.harewood.org

Pay them – not us.

Maybe 5 ‘02s – three from on here, yours included -  and two from our region of the Club.. It’s nearly all E30 stuff nowadays.

Just got hold of Harewood House and to clarify its £13.50 PER PERSON entry. Over 60's (person not car) and students get a rate of £12.50 and £8.00 respectively. There are family rates to two adults and three kids £49.50.

These are the advance ticket rates, I forgot to ask how much on the day.

So bring your wallet!

That is the regular day rate, we should be getting the group rate before any advance payment discount. I have sent them a mail asking for clarification

Here is Harewoods PDF brochure, http://www.harewood.org/files/content34–14.pdf
Looks good don't it – imagine what it will be like with 200 BMW's parked in front of the main house. Nick

Paul – have a look at the group admission price.

Prices: Adult £9.00, Senior £8.00, Student/Child £4.50
Excellent!

I don't know why she didn't offer that deal when I
phoned and stated clearly that I was part of the BMW
day and would be exhibiting my car.

Thanks a million Nick I'll book in tomorrow and see
you on the 13th July.

best, Paul Hill
