Hi Sean, You need a pre 1982 M30 E3 E9 E12 E24 E23 manual gearbox bellhousing as these cars have the separate bellhousing the same as what you are running.

I looked into this when converting to an e21 steering rack – it won’t work, and as John says the e21 suspension is very different to an 02.

Hi Sean, You could make one fit, but you might have sump issues as the E21 sump will not clear an 02 crossmember.
